Robert R. McCammon’s short story Something Passed 
By (https://www.robertmccammon.com/fiction/something.html), which still haunts me till today, his post-apocalyptic novel Swan Song, and a tie between the movies Deep Rising and Serenity.

What advantages do you think flash fiction has to offer you as a writer?

It offers me a way to hone my skills as a fiction writer by encapsulating the process.

What are your greatest challenges with writing flash and micro fiction?

Finding time to write.

Is your favorite genre to write in sci-fi?

Yes, especially apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic science fiction.
